Report on the first Tincture

Now I admonish and ask you, as a pious Christian, prepare your heart, remember, and use your reason and five senses and understanding in this; also open your ears and eyes, to hear and to see, if you now understand me correctly, but understand me, then you will be gladdened and delighted in your long-lasting search. And firstly learn and strive to recognize nature, what sort of unique matter must have existed before the creation of the world. Read in the first book of Moses, also in the Revelation of John, that GOD the Almighty, through his holy word, which was the spirit that went out from the mouth of God, thereby heaven and earth were made, and he also created with his word all living creatures and natures that received life from this unique matter.
