THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK. CHAPTER 16.
THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK WAS ISSUED
TEN YEARS AFTER THE ASCENSION OF CHRIST:
WRITTEN WELL, JUST AS THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MARK
WAS SPOKEN BY PETER IN ROME. IT WAS MADE
AS A BEGINNING FROM THE PROPHETIC WORD
WHICH DESCENDED FROM THE HEIGHTS, AND [MARK] HIMSELF
REVEALS THE WINGED FIGURE OF THE GOSPEL:
A decorative rectangular border at the bottom of the page containing two columns of text flanking a central heraldic or symbolic emblem. The emblem consists of a stylized vertical line with horizontal cross-bars, the letters 'S' and 'Z', and a small cross. The border is adorned with floral motifs in the corners and at the bottom center.

TO WRITE THIS HOLY
GOSPEL. AND IT WAS COMPLETED IN
THE MONTH OF MAY.
