...using [them] as alliances; and kept for these things; and may this become for you a stone of stumbling; and a rock of offense; which it has for some; the passion is unholy; let us sympathize with one another compassionately; become more brotherly than self-loving; give the power of the deity; and we shall give you the voice of forgiveness; confess our nature, and let us honor it for your sake rather, and as we shall treat it for our sake; let us accept the dishonored and the foretold things.

For it is shameful for the one owed in soul to be fulfilled shamefully; to be petty about the treasure in a memorandum of gold, as if these things [are] for others and other times; we, also fearing for our tongue; let us be ashamed of our sinful passions; and while we are being petty in these things; to be petty about the letters; and I hate, O these [men], of the deity, confess the Trinity, [and] keep the one dogma of our nature; and [with] the deity being honored by all among us; for the inhabited world will give to the deception, and the gift; and especially their power; and let no one distinguish...

Why do I cry out, playing with words by the fiery things of our own; admiring what is to come; the word will not exist; those who [give] the things of the Spirit to all and to receive [it] beside; so that we might not set aside, but also lawfully; nor is it a time of fear; nor is there hope for us to measure the reward; confess the Holy Spirit; and preach with us and from us; as much as is worthy; I dare to say something greater, [to call him] God, to speak the apostle’s [words]; so much do I surround [ourselves]; and so much do I respect this free voice; and the color of your virtue; and these sacred things, you yourself become the virtue like a sacrifice and purification; and may he preserve my entire soul, both brother-loving and God-loving, so that it might even be anathema from Christ.
