i a i A noun I say, or a verb; the rest are outside of anything. Pay attention to what is necessary, in the connections, and in the first immediate inquiry, to place the two most necessary parts of speech; and do not be confused if you do not find them first; nor be satisfied with references, but look closely at the mind within them, so that they might be combined; for example, "The brave man [fights] bravely and with his shield." If fighting, courageously, and the law does not participate in perjury with the accomplice: or even if you choose others, but all the speech will be broken, the most necessary is the verb. If the first of these and necessary noun is missing, the speech is true again. Even if you say the verb alone, it is clear here; for example, "fighting, battling bravely, and with his shield."
