I and our Highly Reverend fellow brothers have read your most esteemed letter from Verona, dated June 19th, with great pleasure; we are deeply delighted to be assured of your well-being, for it is a pleasure for a brotherly-minded heart to receive the best news from a friend. We attributed your long silence toward us to those reasons which you were pleased to share with us; a journey like yours certainly requires preparations, and your time was short after your departure from us.
The Highly Reverend Count of the G. B. M. likely an abbreviation for an Order of knighthood, possibly "Grand Body of Masonry" or similar has not yet arrived among us; our business has prevented him from doing so, but we now expect him
