In this study, the men and the ladies assemble separately: the college instructs the aspirant, and the mystical zone the aspirant; so that the secrets of the hearts of the recipients, who must be without veils for their superiors, may not be an object of scandal for the other sex.

The orders of the hierophant in the college, or of the high priestess in the mystical zone, are given by striking the ground with the augural staff.

The hierophant and the high priestess open the mysteries each on their own side, by receiving from the trophador provider of nourishment the fire, the water, and the bread.
