stands in the minutes as a resolution Lodge Council 17..
Art. 5. Whoever has spoken or written against the holy laws of the common faith of the brotherhood shall be excluded from the Order forever, unless he pledges his piety in a full assembly and revokes and refutes his own rash judgments.
ad vocem Brudermörder fratricide s. Ritual.
This article has also been changed by the Grand National Lodge of Germany, or has been deemed in need of explanation. If I am not mistaken, it wants to have the most shameful careers among the fratricides understood as the most cruel state crimes. I will still find my exact note on this.
Art. 6. Whoever loves a pious high masonry, to revere and love the highest and most holy building mostly with zeal, and the exercise of his duties toward the Godhead is an impulse where a correct principle can just as little be the cause for a change in his principles and in his teachings as a general superstition, supported by spouses, is known to be a cause for negligence in the faith which one has known and practiced from his youth.
This note ad. 9.
Art. 7. The most important duties of a Freemason Knight are, besides those already mentioned: 1. A punctual love toward all people, but especially toward a foreign brother (even the unrighteous). -- 2. A behavior so honest that no one can blame it (an unblemished, faultless one). -- 3. An eternally untroubled behavior against the enemies of virtue. -- 4. The exact following of a spiritual Solomonic temple to rebuild through the Word, and 5. the tireless distribution of the general laws, ceremonies (customs), and foundation pillars of the Order for eternal times, without the slightest change (these 4 words are missing immediately).
the further special notes of the relevant word in a separate writing noted.
is likely to mentally re-establish the Temple Order.
these changes are also obvious.
England 1721. q.q. but much changed
We have already had various questions and answers, the teachers and shepherds for their prayer, age, teaching, religion and their service, for their divine service, business and office (because of their prayer, their age, religion, merit, office) and whether they want to provide us with a public or secret Order. All these questions have happened merely with the cause to show that harmony and pleasure are the motive to gain citizenship with us. We also have [a stance] on the weak pillars, to set them up for the day and to be accepted, and or noble soul are the only advantages that we possess. The pawnbroker likely a corruption/misinterpretation in the source text of "Knight of the Cross" and Knights of the Cross have with us equal right (value) with the defenseless jewelry and the pilgrim's mantle. We see in our days all titles, dignities, and inherited names return. In their place, we accept the ordering bands, which were attributed to our most proven old names, and they all need mutual help, support, and trust. Equality protects our statute and is Protestant (sworn) standing firm and instills in us the obedience that the walls tore down, which a tender love and friendship have built.
so also according to their religion evidence, if only strictly accepted in 1721, the religion in which one "was instructed in childhood" in which one must remain -- as it is said in one of the above passages, is therefore an advantage of fortune, of knowledge and belongs to the weak pillars on which these walls do not build.
That the Bible lay open at the Gospel of John happens in memory of the happy time when we united with the Maltese Knights more than 600 years ago, and our ancestors chose John the Baptist as the protector of both orders.
Repertorium Part II. p. 107 sq
18. Why have all countries drawn their blessings into the Scottish Master Lodge?
Because it is our duty to always be ready for the defense of the Order against the infidels.
19. Who are the infidels against whom you defend the Order?
All illegitimate journeymen who have not remained firm in the faith, but have deviated from their duty and have not continued in the faith.
20. Why do you wear a cross with the image of Saint Andrew?
Because Saint Andrew is regarded as the protector of Scotland, where our ancestors have found protection and defense for a long time.
21. If I ask further, however, what do you then expect of me?
That Saint Andrew was a protector of Saint John, whom he pointed to a greater Master, in whose service he became a perfect architect.
lack of understanding in Sigart-Proce Sigart trial/proceedings
22. Why is the white ribbon worn?
Since no one can become a Scottish Master who is not an orderly person and a true Christian, this ribbon is worn in memory of the blood of Jesus Christ and in memory of all those who shed their blood for the defense of Christian teachings.
Br. Ritual.
23. Why is this ribbon worn on the left side?
Because Christ's left side was opened, and we expect from his blood the purification for which a Freemason strives so much.
24. What do the green ribbons mean?
The hope to see the temple rebuilt.
25. What does the star that the Scottish Masters wear mean?
The star that shone to the three wise masters who came from the rising [East], to seek the light and the truth.
changed in Sigart-Proc
26. What do the five points of the star mean?
Jesus' five wounds, which are the cause of our purification.
28. What does the letter G. in the star mean?
The name of the Supreme Architect, the word Geometry or the fifth of the liberal arts, and the word Golgatha or place of execution.
NB Golgatha or place of execution is not printed in the Sigart-Proc. Actually prayer, affirmation
Note by Br. Reich: several of these passages are excerpted according to the report of the Zinnendorf grade. 1, 2, 3, and 4 and 5 consist, as already mentioned above, there further against the Scottish System and the laws, as well as against the Sigart-Proc and the impressions in Fessler's writings. What is special beyond that here, however, is really gleaned from the records of the lodge house, i.e., art 15.
