You will find enclosed a money order for 120 francs original symbol: ₶ on Messrs. Sion Dutrey, Bankers in Paris, provided that you have the kindness to withdraw the amount and dispose of it for the dispatch fee of the Constitutions that we pray you to solicit and to have sent to us as soon as possible.

The correspondence of the Lodge with the Grand Orient needing to be done through your intermediary and mine, oblige me by telling me in your response if it would not be possible to send our documents postage-free, and what means could be employed for that. All the letters that come to me from Paris, and which fall to the Ministry of the Navy, reach me free of charge in my

capacity as General Agent of Navy Transports. Could you not employ this route for packets that are a bit voluminous?

I am charged by the Lodge to ask you to give me a solution to the following two questions.

1st. Can the Lodge perform receptions réceptions initiations of new members and affiliations before having received its Constitutions?

2nd. Are current members who belong to other Lodges required to obtain their exit papers exéat a certificate of withdrawal from a lodge from the said Lodges, even if they are not working regularly, or can they dispense with returning there solely to ask for their exit papers?

Receive, personally, my thanks for the trouble you have been willing to take in giving me such detailed information, and for the offers of service you are willing to make to me. I would like to find an occasion to testify all my gratitude to you, and to prove to you that I am, with the usual Masonic salutations original: "N.º M.º g.º v.º S.º C.º" likely abbreviations for "Nos Meilleurs/Grands vœux, Salut Cordial", your devoted brother.
