...according to the matter of respect, and it was stringent upon the daughters of Israel. And now they have a safeguard fence/precaution that they must sit seven clean days after seven days of menstruation. And see before you the law in Yoreh De'ah Teaching of Knowledge (a section of the Code of Jewish Law), chapter 183, paragraph 1. And this is his language: "A woman who can exert herself, whether by force or by will, is unclean; and she will feel her emission. And once she feels it has been dislodged from its place and has exited, she is unclean, even if it did not exit to the outside. And it is forbidden for her, even if she saw only a drop of blood the size of a mustard seed, she must sit seven clean days." This is the end of the Master's words. And it is known that a person of intellect will understand the custom of his words, that there is [a point] in this law only for his intention, and he is not speaking in the book except by mentioning "even though it did not exit to the outside," etc. And he returned and mentioned "and even if she did not see but a drop of blood as a mustard seed," etc. The investigator will say: how can she see almost inside the inner chamber the blood and estimate it if it is the size of one mustard seed or almost mustard seeds? And these things were not mentioned in the Holy Torah of the Lord as nonsense and vanity, but rather "And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood," etc. And the explanation of "And her issue in her flesh be blood" is within the internal tears from the springs and their pits upon the face of the holy, when she cries. So, the woman, when the women's illness comes to her, it will be awakened from her inner chambers to the outside upon her flesh, and she will see it with her eyes. If it is a lot, or if it is little, it is known that she is unclean and sick. And especially when an illness comes to a woman, and she feels heaviness in her womb i.e., weakness throughout her whole body, like a person who is entirely sick. And it seems that words of truth are here; what will he speak of in this law?
