Magical incantations, medial prescriptions and amulets (Gaster Hebrew MS 1485)

A hand-drawn pen-and-ink architectural frame or portal occupies the page. It consists of two vertical columns decorated with repeating triangles and dots, creating a spiraled effect. These support a pointed arch, which is topped by a semi-circular pediment featuring zig-zags and dots. A small triangular peak sits at the apex, flanked by decorative urn-like finials. The bases of the columns are wide and shaded with heavy cross-hatching. The central space is blank.
