We ask from the Lord that his prayer may be with us, Amen. In it? is the treatise of the division of the treatises of the holy
Isaac of Nineveh, as it exists in all the books, because this treatise is like that which is from the division
his name is spread, and we shall see there?
For this reason, I shared them from the one who became? spiritual, to be patient in it, in this treatise,
Because in it we see the first purity, that it is the treatise on vigilance, and on the contemplation of light
that from his own holy hand which was revealed to this holy man, and all those who read in it, in this treatise,
may they see in it the perfect arrangement of the spiritual dwelling. And because there we find after this division,
the thirty-seventh treatise, on the heaven of life, and how human beings walk towards the seat of the Highest.
And it was known to us from before that time after time, that those who read in the treatises of this holy man, share in the spiritual
conduct, and in the life that is in God, that the Lord may make us all worthy of the life that is to come, by the prayer of Mar Isaac
and of all the saints, Amen. And this treatise is finished, which is the thirty-seventh, from the treatises of the holy Mar Isaac.
