The Venerable Master, after having given the new Venerable Master the word and the touch of Past Master, says:
"In the name of this Venerable Lodge, I make you Past Master or Venerable of A small Masonic square and compasses symbol represents the Lodge.."
He then has him sit in his chair.
Each person files past 4 times before the new Venerable Master, and each time he is saluted with the sign of each degree, to which he responds each time.
The turn finished, everyone returns to their place.
The Venerable Master takes the seat of the ex-Venerable Master.
The works finished, the recipient, that is to say the new Venerable Master, closes the Lodge in the customary manner.
A large diagram depicts a circular Masonic medal. In the center is a five-pointed star containing a smaller star or symbol. The circle is bordered by a dashed line. Around the perimeter are names and titles: 'Hiram' at the top, 'Tyr' and 'Salomon' on the sides, 'King' at the bottom, and 'To, or God' marked with a symbol. To the right, vertical text reads 'Success, Health, and Prosperity.'
Success
Health, and
Prosperity.
