Finally, he places him in his rank among the Novices.
The Most Reverend, having had the alms box presented to all the brothers, closes the Chapter of Novices by saying:
Venerable Brother Prior? of..... Do you deem it appropriate that I close the Chapter of the Novitiate?
Yes, Most Reverend Brother, for the work of the day is accomplished.
The Most Reverend strikes the battery of the degree with 9 blows on the table with the pommel of his sword and says:
To the glory of Almighty God, in the name of the authority of our legitimate superiors, and by the power I hold from them, I close the Chapter of Novices in the Prefecture of.....
