Also Sendivogius at the end of the 50th Epistle adds that our Subjectum material is something thick, opaque, white, and reddish, sweet, and of a pleasant smell, and contains in its center a dry earth (namely our wonderful central salt); and in the 54th Epistle he explains that the name of our Subjectum material is noted with 3 letters and 5 signs. Furthermore, at the end of the aforementioned Epistle 50, he concludes: that a fresh one is to be chosen, because this Subjectum material loses the universal spirit through length of time. And in his conclusion after his Twelve Treatises, he has called it a congealed air, a dew from the night, and a thinned water. And remember that the Materia matter is always only one. How will you then be able to apply what has been said to your ores minerae and regulus of antimony regulo martiali? Certainly, Regulus and ores do not end with 3 letters, the metals are not sweet, nor do they have a smell, they are no dew, no water, and they can also give off no spirit, because they have no spirit at all.
