She feels that this great being, this great primal ground Urgrund, exists through itself and cannot possibly not be. She feels likewise within herself, through this divine touch, the reality Wirklichkeit of her own thinking and immortal unsterblich life. She no longer needs to question herself about God or about herself. In the holy, deep emotion and state of being addressed Angesprochenheit that she feels, she says to herself with as much delight as certainty: God and man are true beings who can recognize each other in the same light and love each other with the same love.

How does she now obtain the certain feeling of these unchangeable truths? Through the same law which revealed the certainty of individual principles to her intellect: that is, she feels the untouchable existence Daseyn of the primal ground of her being, and her own existence through the harmony Uebereinstimmung and the relationships between both. Furthermore, the conviction of the existence of these two beings could neither take hold in us nor

take root if this divine fire did not find a powerful similarity of nature Gleichartigkeit in our soul; otherwise, it would pass through us without leaving even a trace or a feeling.

Whether we now, according to the same law prevailing here, utilize the treasures of truth Wahrheitsschätze that we discover in this divine touch or not, that must undeniably have the greatest influence on our true satisfaction Befriedigung; but it has no influence at all on the existence of these treasures themselves, or on the part of us that is their container. Thus, the lack of this sublime feeling in perverted souls and all the resulting denial can destroy neither the necessary and eternal primal ground Urgrund of beings, nor the divine similarity of nature with it which we all have. For what is, in short a present fact Thatsache, can well be confirmed and supported by our signs or testimonies, but its reality Wirklichkeit cannot be expected from them, because it exists earlier than
