An engraved printer's device or emblem. It features an allegorical scene within a decorative frame. At the top is a banner with the Latin motto: "Faith and Harmony stir us to labor" original: "FIDES ET CONCORDIA AD LABOREM CONCITANT". The scene depicts several figures in a landscape. On the left, figures sit under a tree, while on the right, smaller figures, known as putti, appear to be working on a stone altar or monument. In the foreground, a small fire burns in a brazier.
