The title of this writing sufficiently announces its subject. However, I must mention that I have a double interest in establishing the opinions spread throughout the world regarding Animal Magnetism a hypothesized invisible natural force used for healing.

• Those who wish to have the information on this matter of which it is capable may read the Memoir titled: Memoir on Animal Magnetism, by Mr. Mesmer, Doctor of Medicine of the Faculty of Vienna. At Geneva. Found in Paris at P. Fr. DIDOT the younger, Bookseller, Printer to MONSIEUR, Quai des Augustins, 1779. Monsieur was the traditional title for the eldest brother of the King of France.
