Der gülden Gesundbrunnen

This godly Philosophus philosopher treats these arcana secrets from the depths of his grave through his living writings in the German language, concerning natural and supernatural things. For in the third chapter, on page 37, he calls out and beckons thus: "Come here, you blessed of the Lord. Let yourselves be anointed with oil and refreshed with water. Embalm your bodies so that they do not rot. For the heavenly water is the beginning, and the oil is the middle, because it does not burn and is made from a spiritual sulfur. The salt-balsam is lovely, which is united with the oil through the water."

This is now, in the shortest truth, the content of the secret of the entire art. In this is dedicated the verum subjectum Philosophorum true subject of the philosophers, the Lapidis benedicti plusquamperfecti more than perfect blessed stone. It serves both universaliter universally as well as particulariter specifically for human health and the regeneration restoration of metals. From this secret, Basilius Valentinus has now produced more in the German language than any philosopher before him.
