For they are void, they are empty of strength, if even one witness is missing when this Testament is opened. But how great a treasure lies hidden here in such a rich depth, which is committed as a legacy to your uses, O Heir! Once these testamentary documents are unsealed, the contents made open in a solemn manner will teach you. Meanwhile, as the Hermetic chests the secret repositories of wisdom keep it closed, it is to be held for the secret use of you alone, O venerable offspring of divine Sophia Wisdom. You are those to whom the gods have granted minds illustrated with a secret light, suited for the secret inner shrines of truth. These things of ours stand for your benefit; they are unknown to those common wits, nor are they betrayed to them. However often a rash and insolent tongue, having seized upon the work with bold daring, might belch out a judgment from such a mouth, it is like the judge between Pan and Apollo...
