and thus the disposition of his last will,

is revealed to the sons of wisdom and learning

by the Author.

A circular alchemical emblem. The outer border contains the phrase: "Three things are in woman: to weep, to spin, and to sit; this is the union of woman." Inside this is a second circle containing the text: "PLANETARY WORK" and "GENERATION OF METALS." At the center are alchemical symbols for Saturn ♄ and Jupiter ♃ flanking a central vertical symbol consisting of an orb with a cross below and a crescent above a composite symbol for Mercury or the universal matter. The syllables "LA RUM", "CU", and "RE" likely parts of "Speculum" or "Mercurium" are positioned around the central symbols within the inner circle.
