A continuation of the controversy

The world, through its own wisdom, does not know God, nor do they know His ways or His decrees; for His footsteps have been hidden in the great deep, and His paths are beyond human understanding. Because the professors of religion have cited the Scriptures and claimed they are already fulfilled, they have strengthened atheists in their unbelief. These atheists clearly see that the Scriptures have not been fulfilled, and these errors cause thousands to stumble. Some do not believe there is a God at all to reveal His will to man; others believe there is a God and that the Scriptures contain His written word, yet they still deny their fulfillment. Others say they are already fulfilled—that everything was finished when our Savior expired on the cross—and they deny that any further revelation will be given. It is to convince mankind of these errors that the "controversy of the Spirit" is now presented to humanity.

However, since a professor of religion has advised me to contend only for that faith which was once delivered to the saints, I answer that this is the very faith
