But as the hand of death was there,

So in your station does appear;
Because the Hammer surely has come,
The nails are fastened for their doom,
And every soul is made secure;
And now it is time to hope and fear,
Because your Nation’s chain is broken.

"And so in man they will appear;
For Satan's arts will some ensnare,
To be convulsed in words from hell;
By Satan's arts will men rebel,
Until I do convulse the whole,
And suddenly shake the hearts of all.
For I shall shake the earthly ground—
The hearts of men convulsed are found,
Tempted by malice and by word,
And mock the coming of the Lord;
And like your brother they appear—
'We cannot judge that it is near,'—
But they are all mistaken like him;
The hand of death, you all might see,
That day did to your father come;
For five days he did linger on,
In strong convulsions to appear,
And then his death you did see clearly.
So now these days I will turn to years:
The hand of death does now appear,
And strong convulsions are found;
From heaven and hell I hear the sound;
For some are strongly convulsed for ME,
And wish my kingdom for to see;
And so my kingdom shall appear,
In glorious triumph, in five years; — 26 B. 12. P.

That is to say, I will make this land
To judge my coming is near at hand;
For in the hearts of men I will reign,
And they my kingdom shall obtain;
A perfect peace within five years,
A happy nation shall appear,
To such as are convulsed for ME,
And my happy kingdom wish to see.
For I shall now convulse the whole,
And death shall make the mockers fall,
And I will bring in a glorious peace,
And make your jarring discord cease;
For of one heart and mind you will be;
A happy nation you shall see,
That I shall give unto my friends;
The heavenly music shall descend;
For here must come the first redeemed,
The living water and the stream."

And all may mark the coming stroke,
That like the father he did lie,
In strong convulsions and did die;
And so convulsed is now your land,
And so their death is near at hand;
For in that manner they will fall,
And I shall now convulse you all.

"I shall answer the meaning of these words based on what was said by the angels at my birth—that they told the shepherds I was born to

  And bring it to the sons of men;
  And in convulsions he did fight,
  To bring every mystery to your sight.
