The Wand of the Master is lowered.

Brother original: "Frater" Zelator (with uplifted Wand).—Blessed be the Servant of the Lord in the place of his ministry.

Master of the Temple.—Let us declare the sanctity of GOD in the reverence of Holy Prayer, so that the Light and Darkness of Humanity may unite to bless the Lord.

The Imperator and Chief Celebrants descend from their Thrones and face East, with the other Officers and the rest of the Brothers.

Master of the Temple.—Our wills and life are Yours, O Will Most High. Establish us, Your children, in the freedom of Your holy purpose. Our minds and thoughts are Yours, O Mind Supreme. Transform original: "Transmute" our natural minds and let our thoughts be reborn in You. The heart and its needs are Yours, O Heart and Center of all things. Uplift us in the way of our search, so that we may attain the knowledge of Your presence. Enlighten our darkness, increase our light, O Lord of Light and Darkness.

The Imperator and Celebrants return to their places and everyone faces their usual directions.

Master of the Temple.—Assistant Brother original: "Frater" Zelator, Proclaimer of the Temple, in the Name of Him Who is our strength, our refuge, and our ultimate goal original: "term" from eternity, I command you to proclaim that the Temple is open in the grace of the World of Action.

The Assistant Brother Zelator lifts up his Lamp and Wand, saying loudly and clearly:

Brother Zelator.—Brothers and Sisters original: "Fratres et Sorores", Blessed is the Temple of our Fellowship in the Light of the Rosy Cross. I testify that the Temple is open in the Grade of Neophyte.

The Sign of the Neophyte Grade is given by everyone present.
