Twenty-two letters which are the foundation of the three mothers, the seven doubles, and the twelve simples. Three mothers Aleph-Mem-Shin אמש which are the foundation of the scale of merit and the scale of guilt, and the balance of the tongue Chok statute/law balances between them.

. 2 . 1 Twenty-two letters as a foundation, which He engraved, sculpted, combined, weighed, permuted, and through them formed everything that has been formed and everything that will be formed.
. 3 . 1 Twenty-two letters, foundation which He engraved by the voice, hollowed out by the spirit, placed in the mouth, in five organs: the letters Aleph, Cheit, He, Ayin in the throat; Gimel, Yod, Kaph, Qof in the palate; Dalet, Tet, Lamed, Nun, Tav in the tongue; Zayin, Samekh, Shin, Resh, Tsade in the teeth; Bet, Vav, Mem, Pe on the lips.

. 5 . 1 How did He combine them, weigh them, and permute them? Aleph with all, and all with Aleph, and Bet with all, and all with Bet, and they turn and there were found two hundred thirty-one gates, and one finds everything that is formed, and all languages emerge from a single name.
. 6 . 1 He formed something concrete from the Tohu chaos, and made what was not, sculpted the great columns The seven columns of wisdom included in the phrase from 1 Chronicles Chapter 29 Verse 11. by the air that cannot be grasped, and this is a sign that the letter Aleph with all, and all with Aleph, looks and changes, and made everything that is formed, and everything that can be pronounced; a unique name and the sign of this: twenty-two objects in a single body.
