but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

By their fruits you shall recognize them. Can one gather grapes from thorns? Or figs from thistles? Luke 6:43-44.

Thus every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a rotten tree brings forth bad fruit.

A good tree cannot bring forth bad fruit, and a rotten tree cannot bring forth good fruit.

Every tree that does not bring forth good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Matthew 3:10.

Therefore, by their fruits you shall recognize them.

Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord," will come into the kingdom of heaven, but those who do the will of my Father in heaven. Romans 2:13. James 1:12.
