A rectangular white label is pasted onto the left page. It contains a circular emblem with an oval center. The center depicts a "Pelican in her Piety," which is a mother pelican wounding her breast to feed her young with her own blood. This is a traditional symbol of sacrifice and Christ. Below the pelican is a shield bearing three roses. Above the pelican, rays of light emanate from a single point. The name of the library is printed in a circular border surrounding the image.
The right hand page is a blank flyleaf. It features the same marbled pattern as the left page.
