The answer of the Lord to the powers of darkness

For Satan is now the Pharaoh on trial,
By whom My children are all denied;
As a free people, he will not let them go;
But now, he shall surely encounter a Moses:
Appear now in the camp of Israel,
And all shall know a PROPHETESS is here.
I say, she shall be like Miriam now,
And notice that Moses said his tongue was tied,
That he could not be a spokesman at all:
Miriam and Aaron, behold your call now.
But I am speaking this to the sons of men,
So that you may now awake and see it clearly;
For now, like Moses, I will surely go on,
And I have now found a spokesman in a man;* This refers to her friends copying the communications, which she reads from her own handwriting, and which no other person whatsoever can read.

To deliver everything that I speak:
That which happened then was only a shadow.
But now, everyone shall see the substance,
For I am the Moses, though concealed from you.
And Satan has now become the Pharaoh;
And here is the spokesman I shall make of man.
Because a Miriam appears in you.
And now every soul shall hear My pleading,
How I shall shortly begin with Satan:
But know, you have not yet come to him:
But then, I say, you will hear a different sound;
His friends will abound like Pharaoh’s sorcery.
For now, I tell you, he will follow after,
And he will be working strongly on many:
Because they pretend to boast of their wisdom,
And there, I tell you, every soul is lost
That relies now on their own wisdom;
Satan’s arts will fly like Pharaoh’s sorcery:
For he will now pursue hastily after,
And I tell you, he will now perform miracles.
To work by witchcraft in the sinner’s heart,
You little know the way he will aim his arrow.
Wave after wave, I tell you, will come on;
The raging seas will now be known to man:
But, oh, My friends! If you stand safe on shore,
You need not fear the raging of the seas:
Because I surely shall divide the seas,
And I will hide Myself in the Pillar now.
I will go before My people now as a Light,
And they shall all know I am a Wall to them;

So that now, if they appear like Israel,
They will find a Moses and a SAVIOUR here:
Who has now come to redeem My people;
I AM the FOUNTAIN and the LIVING Stream.
I AM the Staff that shall divide the seas;
I AM the Pillar that is hidden from you.
And it is by faith that you all must see the Light,
For thousands will now be in unbelief.
And they will pursue like Pharaoh’s haughty army,
And they will pretend to boast of their knowledge.
And so they will now pursue with Pharaoh,
But they will know their madness in the depths!
Because I say their wheels will run too fast—
I mean their wisdom will burst forth like fury.
To judge the seas I can never divide,
“Oh, where is the Moses to bring back the tide?
“To redeem the fall of man,” they will say,
“How can we gain the Promised Land?” they will say.
“And so they will try to hold back men’s faith,”
With all the rage of Hell that can now break out.
But you say this is madness to believe—
That men would ever wish to sit and grieve!
Oppressed by such burdens by Satan’s power,
You judged that ALL, with joy, should see the hour
When all their burdens would be taken away.
Men should rejoice to see the GLORIOUS Day,
That man’s redemption is now nearly here,
And the fulfillment of the promise made to man.

Now, I shall answer in plain words. The deliverance of the Children of Israel, bringing them out of Egypt into the Promised Land, was a prefiguration original: "type" of the Last Days—Pharaoh was a prefiguration of the Devil. Now, just as Pharaoh’s magicians used sorcery to blind the eyes of the Egyptians so they would not believe the miracles Moses performed were from the Lord; so Satan will work in the hearts of men to prophesy the same as the true Prophets of GOD; and some of their prophecies will come true, just as some of the magicians’ miracles were like the miracles of Moses. For Satan has worked in men who have prophesied out of their own hearts and have seen nothing; yet some things may come true without the spirit of prophecy; and many false prophets have gone out into the world by the arts of Satan working in men, so that the true prophets
