Can they sustain your every hope
If I destroy the land?
Without My rain, can you endure?
Be wise, and understand.
There is not a thing seen on Earth
But that I created it all;
And if I give up My reign,
Everything must fall just like the seas.
Then how can you be preserved?
What pleasures are found there?
There can be no more from Satan
Than what appears in the seas.
You can find no corn or wine there,
No solid place of rest;
I formed the seas and I formed the land
To show how both were placed.
You all may see the rains from Me;
Survey your every land.
The cedars and the lofty trees
Were planted by My Hand.
Your gardens and your splendid walks
Were surely placed by Me;
I have given talents to men
So that all might be improved.
There is not a worm on earth below
But that I created it first;
There is no wisdom men can show
But what bursts forth from Me.
So now see clearly: My Hand is here!
Survey this earthly ground;
If anything like Satan appears,
It must be found in the seas:
That is, to swell in rage from Hell,
Like the application of angry seas;
He swells like foaming billows
That roll in like the tide.
To the shore, he would appear
To show his raging pride.
But now, sons of men, see plainly:
His power can be no more
Than the raging of the seas,
If you stand safely on the shore.
But if you come to vote for HIM,
Then launch out into the deep;
And if you can find your footing there,
Then keep Satan’s kingdom.

An Answer to what is written on the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Pages: Satan’s Friend having said they were cast out of Heaven for being of a cheerful Spirit. Answered by the Lord in the following manner:

You lying fool, appear before your God
And answer boldly: did I cast you out of there
For having a Spirit ever like My Son?
For here is the likeness you now condemn.
Proud Lucifer! I tell you, it was not so;
And I will make you feel and know your lies.
I did not cast you out for any such reason,
* He had the same pride and mischief in Heaven which is proven by his conduct on Earth.

But for the pride and envy you show HERE;*
When I began to be familiar with you,
Then too much freedom was instantly seen;
You appeared as though you were above your Maker!
And swollen with pride, you could not conquer there.
You soon drew away the Heavenly Host,
And you thought to betray all My Angels.
And so you thought to sit supreme as a King
Above your God, and you condemned My Son
As someone inferior to your haughty pride;
And you have lied about everything to the woman.
§ He forged lies while in Heaven to delude the Angels into forsaking their God.

All your ways appeared like Jezebel, §
Who stole the Seal to ensnare the Angels.
And then, you thought to steal My Son’s place on high
And make the rebel Angels defy Him.
Your every claim was like Naboth’s vineyard,
And you gained the sons of Belial Sons of Belial: A biblical term for wicked or lawless men. to join you
To steal My vineyard and claim it all as your own;
And that is the way I dethroned them all.
And that is the way you were cast from Heaven,
Because your rage burst out like Jezebel’s—
Because you could not dethrone My Only Son,
For He and I were both One in Spirit.
But, further on, I will now show you the way
All your hellish arts were laid in Heaven;
And then I will tell you why I raised you up,
And now I will tell you why I will make you fall.
As nothing but lies first appeared in you,
And I say you have spoken nothing but lies here,
I now condemn you there from your own mouth.
