neither would they believe yours; because your sayings came from ME, to warn mankind that the end was at hand, that I should fulfill my Gospel and the words of the prophets—which I said I came to fulfill—and that I should bring in the redemption of man, as I told them to expect in the end. And now my demand to mankind, who profess to believe my Gospel, is this: how will they prove my sayings true without the SPIRIT of TRUTH to guide them into all truths, and without the SON being revealed in the end? Therefore, gird up the loins of your minds, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
1 Peter 4:12, 13.
