Leadbeater, Charles Webster · [1908]

The cover features a highly stylized Art Nouveau or Symbolist illustration in silver/white ink on a dark cloth background. A central androgynous human figure stands with arms raised, surrounded by an oval aura of radiating, wavy lines resembling energy fields or wings. Above the figure's head is a small eight-pointed star. The entire scene is framed by rays emanating from the center and a decorative geometric border. The artist's signature, Fidus, appears in the top right corner. Fidus, the pseudonym of Hugo Höppener, was a prominent German illustrator known for his mystical and nature-focused themes.
A circular emblem contains a triangle with an eye in the center, known as the Eye of Providence. This is a common symbol in theosophical and masonic traditions representing divine watchfulness or the higher spiritual self.
