THE VISIBLE AND THE INVISIBLE MAN.

It is sometimes useful to think of them as being one above the other. This depends on the different degrees of density of the matter from which they consist. You can see from the figure in Plate II that they are drawn in this way. We must always remember that this representation is only for convenience. It is a symbol. it does not reflect the real relationship of these different planes. You must not imagine them lying one above the other like the shelves of a bookcase. Instead, they fill the same space and penetrate each other. Science fully recognizes the fact that atoms never touch even in the hardest matter. Every atom has a certain room to move and vibrate. Every molecule has its own field of vibration. There is always enough space between them. Every physical atom floats in a sea of Astralmaterie astral matter. This matter surrounds it on all sides and fills every gap in the physical substance. It is generally accepted that Äther ether penetrates all known substances. It penetrates the densest solids as well as the finest gases.

THE PLANES OF EXISTENCE IN NATURE.

Ether moves completely freely between the particles of solid matter. In the same way, Astralstoff astral matter penetrates the ether and moves freely within it. Mentalstoff mental matter penetrates the astral matter in exactly the same way. These different Daseinsebenen planes of existence are not spatially separated from each other. They are all around us and above us, here and everywhere. We do not need to change our location to see and explore them. We only need to develop the senses with which they can be perceived.
