3. prosanapherousin they offer up: this word occurs twice elsewhere in the LXX, Judith xi. 18 elthousa prosanoiso soi coming I will offer to you and 2 Macc. xi. 36 ha de ekrine prosanenechthenai to basilei and the things which he decided should be offered to the king.
11-12. That hoti that should be read in l. 11 before eirene peace with A is improbable, the line being long enough without it, and similar words of connexion being avoided elsewhere in the fragment; cf. p. 3. It is just possible that hymin to you should be read instead of hymon your in l. 12.
13. eis for: epi upon might be read, but eis for is regularly used in this phrase in the LXX and N.T.
15. ouch hoti not that: k is the only alternative to ch and the vestige of the next letter suits o, but not e, so that ouketi no longer is an unsatisfactory reading, even if it suited the context. The traces of ti are slight, but suggest no other appropriate reading, so that ouch hoti not that is practically certain; cf. int.
20-1. hoti | ouk that | not (so א) is very uncertain, but suits the slight traces somewhat better than kai | ouk and | not (BA) or ouk e|phagon I did not eat.
