15 [concerning this you] ask with one anoth[er
[because I said 'a little] while and you do not see
[me, and again a little] while and you will see me'? [
[Truly, truly I say] to you that [you will weep]
[and lament,] but the
20 [world will rejoice;] you will be [grie]ved,
[but your] grief into joy
[will turn. The woman] when she gives birth, sor[row]
[she has, because] her hour has come;
[but when she has born the] child, no lon[ger]
25 [does she remember the] tribulation, be[cause]
[a human was born] into the world. And you therefore
30 [no one] will take [from] you. And in that
day [you will ask me]
nothing. [Truly, truly] I say to you,
[if you ask] anything [of the Father he will give to you]
[in my] name. [Ask and]
35 [you will receive, that your joy] may be
[made full.] These things in figures
[of speech I have spoken] to you. The hour comes
[when no longer in figures of speech I will]
40 [speak to you, but] plainly concerning
[the Father I will announce to you. In]
[that day in my name]
[you will ask, and I do not say to you]
[that I will ask] the Father; he himself
45 [for] the Father loves [you, because you have loved me]
[and have believed]
