Taking pure mercury and equal parts sulfur, one should process it with the milk of the banyan tree for fifteen hours five 3-hour periods, known as yāma over a fire made of banyan wood. (38) Continuously pouring in banyan milk, one should stir it with a banyan wood rod. After removing it, one should perform a triple-process with the juices of devadālī Luffa echinata leaves. (39) During the hot season, one should consume one guñjā a small seed-weight with a betel leaf, increasing the dose by one guñjā each month, up to sixteen guñjā. (40) One should lick a karṣa a weight measure of the powder along with the juices of uttaravāruṇī Cucumis sativus, bākucī Psoralea corylifolia, and devadālī, mixed with honey as an after-drink. (41) Within one year, this destroys old age; one will live for three hundred years. This mercury, known as Vaṭeśvara, creates a diamond-hard body for men. (42)
One should always lick one karṣa of mercury, pure sulfur, triphalā a mixture of three medicinal fruits, and guggulu Commiphora mukul in equal parts, mixed with vātāri Ricinus communis oil. (43) In six months, it destroys old age, and one lives for the three days of Brahma an immensely long cosmic age. Through the urine and feces of one who has consumed this, copper turns into gold. (44) One should cook the testicles of a goat in cow’s milk at night. One should drink this, followed by the consumption of this Acaleśvara mercury mixed with sugar. (45)
Take mercury, tin, svarṇakānta a type of magnetic iron ore, and killed iron in equal parts. Add pure mākṣika pyrite and sulfur, and mix everything with the juices of jambīra citrus limon. (46) Grind this for one week and cook the ball in a sealed crucible literally: "in a pit", referring to a specific furnace type. Cook it for one day in a bhūdhara earthen pit furnace. This is known as the supreme perfected mercury. (47) Licking one māṣaka a weight measure with honey for a year destroys death and old age. The practitioner gains a divine body and possesses the power of Vishnu. (48) One should always drink white punarnavā Boerhavia diffusa root ground with milk, or eat sugar; this is the procedure for the Supreme Mercury. (49)

One should mix two parts of pure sulfur with killed mercury. After grinding it for one day with the juices of kanyakā Aloe vera, one should seal it. (50) Cook it for one day with honey and lick it for one day with honey. This mercury, known as Gandḥāmṛta, makes one conquer death within a year. (51) One should powder bhṛṅgarāja Eclipta prostrata dried in the shade, along with its roots. Add an equal amount of triphalā powder and an amount of sugar equal to the whole. (52) Having unified these, one should consume one pala a weight measure with an after-drink.
Take equal parts of mercury and killed mica, and an amount of sulfur equal to both. (53) Grind it all with bhṛṅga juices for seven days. After processing it six times with aṅkulī Alangium salvifolium oil, one should consume it. (54) Consuming one māṣa for a year, this mercury, known as Kālakaṇṭaka, takes effect. Drink the juice of karañja Millettia pinnata leaves followed by cow's milk. (55) Freed from old age and death, a man lives for a day of Brahma.
Take killed mercury, mica, kānta a type of iron, poison, tāpya pyrite, and śilājatu bitumen. (56) One should always lick three guñjā of these in equal parts, with honey and ghee. In six months, it destroys old age, and a man lives for a day of Brahma. (57) Take ash of aśvagandhā Withania somnifera root, seven parts ghee, eight parts jaggery, and one part pippalī long pepper. (58) After mixing all this with clay, one should consume one pala. This is the procedure for the success of the nectar-lord mercury, the king of elixirs. (59)
Combine three parts of pure sulfur with one part pure mercury. Add iron-plate powder equal to the mercury. (60) Grind all this for three days with the milks of snuhī Euphorbia neriifolia and arka. Once dried, cook it in a sealed crucible over a fire of cow-dung cakes for a day and a night. (61)
