of a deer and a goat, heat them in a puṭa heating pit, and quench them in oil. (114) One should consume one pala approx. 48 grams of powdered bhallātaka Semecarpus anacardium/marking nut seeds, followed by clarified butter made from the milk of a cow that has recently calved. This is the supreme beneficial method of krāmaka a specific method of alchemical assimilation. (115)
Take dead sūta mercury, abhraka mica, vajra diamond, kāntaloha magnetite/lodestone, tāmra copper, hāṭaka gold, and tīkṣṇa steel in equal parts. Add an equal amount of gandhaka sulfur to the whole mixture. (116) Triturate the entire mass with oil of palāśa Butea monosperma for seven days. This compound is known as Mahāśaktirasa. One should always consume a māṣa approx. 1 gram of this with honey. (117) By using this for six months, one conquers old age and can live for the duration of three days of Brahmā A poetic hyperbole indicating an immensely long lifespan. There is no doubt that one lives as long as the vatsara year-based rejuvenation therapies promise. (118) One becomes swift in desire, a great adept, and equal to the Supreme Power. Through his urine and feces, copper becomes gold. (119) The krāmaka assimilatory method to be used is the consumption of eight palas approx. 384 grams of palāśa seed oil with honey, as clearly explained by the power of the tradition. (120)
Take one pala approx. 48 grams of red or black vajrakānta diamond or magnetite that has been reduced to ash, one pala of gold powder, and two palas of purified mercury. (121) Triturate this entire mixture for one day with the urine of a young girl and a goat. (122) Then, process it for three days with each of the following: śarapuṅkhā Tephrosia purpurea, meṣaśṛṅgī Gymnema sylvestre, sarpākṣī Ophioxylon serpentinum, kaṭumbikā Lagenaria siceraria, and indravāruṇikā Citrullus colocynthis. (123) Seal the resulting bolus in a garbhayantra internal womb apparatus and cook it for three days. (124) Remove it with light heat and powder it. Triturate it again with the juice of bhṛṅgarāja Eclipta prostrata. (125) Mix it equally with triphalā a blend of three myrobalans, pūpa cake/flour, honey, and clarified butter. Consume one māṣa of this Hāṭakeśvararasa regularly. (126) It destroys all diseases and old age. It is sufficient to satisfy the vatsara annual requirements. Possessing divine luster and a great body, one lives as long as the moon and stars endure. (127) Drink two niṣkas approx. 6 grams of the powder of the bark of the brahmavṛkṣa Butea monosperma dried in the shade, mixed with buttermilk. This is the supreme and auspicious krāmaka assimilatory method. (128)
Take well-dried white vaikrānta a tourmaline-like mineral and keep it in the sun for a week. Triturate it with amlavetasa Garcinia pedunculata to restore its luster. (128) Take this and an equal amount of purified mercury and triturate it with honey for three days. Consume a māṣa of this. Within a month, a person becomes a youth. (129) After a year, one becomes equal to Brahmā. This is the Bālasundararasa. One should consume this followed by a decoction of bākucī Psoralea corylifolia seeds and honey. (130)
Take four palas of purified mercury and one pala of reduced gold. Triturate these for three days in a mortar with the oil of palāśa flower buds. (131) Add an equal amount of purified sulfur to the mortar and triturate it for a day with the previously mentioned substances. (132) Eat one māṣa of this pill. Within a year, one is released from the aging process. A hero who takes this lives for a day of Brahmā. This is the Brahma-Apjarasa. (133) Triturate equal parts of the seed powder of vānari Mucuna pruriens and kākatuṇḍī Leea macrophylla with the juice of śālmalī Bombax ceiba and vagadala for three days. (134) Triturate it with the juice of bhuñjaja for another three days and powder it. Consume one karṣa approx. 12 grams of this mixed with aged ghee. (135)
Take earthworms found in red earth and test them. If, when cut, red blood exudes, select them carefully. (136) Cook them with an equal amount of black cow ghee in an iron vessel, stirring until the color resembles vermilion. (137) The entire substance becomes ash and dead mercury. Mix everything with honey and increase the dose to half a guñjā approx. 0.06 grams. (138) Afterwards, consume one guñjā daily for a year. This Śivāmṛtarasa removes old age and death from humans. It grants a lifespan equal to the day of Brahmā. One should drink it following the method of Śiva. (139)
