One part gold, one part kānta lodestone, two and a half parts silver, (48) three parts essence of mica, and six parts copper powder. Grind all this finely in a mortar for three days (49) with the sour group of substances and cook it for three days in a ḍolāyantra with kāñjī sour gruel; the Surasundarī pill is produced. (50) Held in the mouth, it destroys old age and death. Consume one karṣa of bhūtāravaṭa a plant root with milk. (51)
Gold, silver, arka copper, muṇḍa iron, vaṅga tin, sīsaka lead, and essence of mica. Take all of these as equal powders and add a portion of calcined diamond. (52) Add an equal amount of pure mercury and grind all with the juices of divine herbs for one day, then melt the Vajra-nandhi a process involving diamond. (53) The Vajratuṇḍā pill is produced. Held in the mouth, it destroys old age, death, and weaponry within a year. (54) One becomes diamond-bodied, immensely powerful, and lives for three hundred years. Extract the juice of kumārī Aloe vera and mix it with jaggery. (55) Consume one pala of this krāmaka assimilation paste; it is the permanent vehicle.

(59) Consume three niṣkas of brahmataila sacred oil mixed with two palas of cow's milk; one lives for a hundred thousand years.
