Rasaratnākara (Rasāyanakhaṇḍa)

Eat three pala approx. 144 grams daily; it is beneficial for those desiring results. (153)

The Pracaṇḍakhecarī Guṭikā The Fierce Sky-Faring Pill

Place the powder of horse-plant original: "aśvarasa", perhaps Withania somnifera equal to the weight of the secret-mercury original: "guhyasūta". Grind this mixture firmly for three days with the sour juices of the citron fruit. (154) Add purified diamond original: "mṛtavajra" equal to the mercury and grind it. Then, grind it for a day in a mortar with sour juices and cook it in a dolāyantra swinging vessel apparatus. (155) For one day, place it in a bhūdhara yantra earth-vessel apparatus with one part of the previously prepared mercury. Grind it firmly for a day with the juices of the citron fruit. (156) Seal it and cook it as before, and again add mercury. Cook it as previously described; do this seven times. (157) By adding mercury again and again, it becomes ash-like mercury bhasmasūtaka. Use it in all applications; it destroys old age and death. (158) Take one part of lead powder, one part of the previously prepared ash, and one part of molten mercury; make a khoṭa hardened, potent state as before. (159) Likewise, melt the lead again and consume it; once it is settled in the mouth, it lasts until the end of the iron-era original: "loharala", an alchemical stage. (160) This is called the Pracaṇḍakhecarī pill, which grants movement through the sky. The hero obtains the extremely rare fruit as before. (161) Drink one karṣa approx. 12 grams of nirguṇḍī Vitex negundo root powder mixed with buttermilk.

The Kaṅkālakhecarī Guṭikā The Skeletal Sky-Faring Pill

Add one kalāṃśa one-sixteenth part of purified diamond to pure mercury. (162) Grind the mixture for three days in a mortar with a group of acidic liquids. Then, coat it equally. (163) Wrap the leaves of the ripened seed plant with solar-leaf likely sun-dried leaves, enclose it, and bury it in the center of a hearth. (164) Cover it and light a wood fire there for three days. Extract it, and seal it in a pair of crucibles. (165) Cook it in an ash fire for a day and a night and extract it.

Rasāyanakhaṇḍa Section on Alchemy/Rejuvenation

Add an equal amount of this to the mercury that has been prepared with vāsanā scenting/impregnation with herbs. (166) Grind with acid for one yāma 3 hours; extract the ball that forms. Place it inside a citron fruit, wrap it in cloth, and cook it for three days. (167) In a dolāyantra swinging vessel, a wonderful pill is produced. Named the Kaṅkālakhecarī, when placed in the mouth, it destroys death. (168) Whoever wears it for a year lives for a day of Brahmā a cosmic epoch. Lick one karṣa of sulfur and guggulu mixed with clarified butter. (169)

The Kālavidhvaṃsikā Vaṭikā The Time-Destroying Pill

Take black mica essence, kānta iron lodestone, mākṣika pyrite, gold, sharp iron, and sour-powder sauvīra, all in equal amounts; seal them tightly and heat. (170) Grind the solidified mass into a fine powder; it should be equal to the quantity of two parts of mercury. Add half-part of purified diamond and grind everything with acid. (171) Grind it for one day in a mortar, seal it, and cook it in a bhūdhara earth-vessel. Extract it after a day and night, then add an equal amount of the previous mercury. (172) Add the juices of divine herbs and grind it for a day. Cook it as before in the earth-vessel. Add an equal amount of the wonderful mercury again. (173) Grind it and cook it again; repeat this seven times. Add sulfur equal to this ash and heat it firmly. (174) A divine pill, the supreme Kālavidhvaṃsikā, is created. To whomsoever has this in their mouth, what can Time do? (175) Through its use for eight years, one lives for a thousand cycles. By merely touching it to base metals, they turn into gold. (176) There is no doubt about this; drink śivāmbu alkaline water/distillate.

The Padmānanā Guṭikā The Lotus-Faced Pill

Take gold, silver, kānta iron, and sharp iron powder in equal amounts. (177) Heat the pair the combined mixture in a sealed crucible. Grind the solidified mass and divide it as before. (178) In a sealed vessel, consume mercury five times in succession. Grind it with divine herbs for three days. (179)
