Control (Niyamana)

After this, I shall speak of the control of mercury. Through this, the mercury's restlessness is calmed. The excellent mercury, combined with water and rock salt, is placed in a pot. (67)

Steamed for three days, it becomes powerful.

Kindling (Dipana)

Now I shall speak of the kindling of the King of Mercury. (68)

By which hunger and expansiveness are properly produced. Mustard, salt, pepper, and leadwort-origin likely derived from Chitrakam. (69)

Flowers of vitriol and alum, combined with fermented gruel. Grind for three days and then grind with alkali. (70)

In this way, kindling is certainly achieved. Intensity, speed of action, expansiveness, and hunger are produced. (71)

Strength is especially produced when done properly. The process of producing a mouth openness to intake metals is a method of kindling. (72)

I shall tell you briefly how to produce a liquid state. Mercury with one-eighteenth part of gold. (73)

Grind with lemon juice for one day. Then steam with alkalis, salts, and acids in fermented gruel water. (74)

Washed in fermented gruel, it develops a mouth to "eat." With one part of copper-essence and double that in gold. (75)

Grind it with a hot mortar according to the method of a hot mortar. (76)

Combined with a mercury wheel and chickpea alkali. (77)

Grind for twenty-one days with lime-water, and grind for one watch every day. (78)

It truly attains a demonic mouth the ability to swallow/consume metals, without doubt. This is the second method of kindling stated by me. (79)

The eight processes of mercury have been stated for bodily works. And ten processes are for making the body and metals. (80)

Intake Calculation (Grasamana)

One without the knowledge of measurement cannot do it. Therefore, I must state the measurement process as taught. (81)

Sixty-four parts of gold bija seed/gold for mercury to create a mouth. Afterwards, thirty-two parts of the best gold should be given. (82)

Then sixteen parts of gold as a morsel should be placed. By the best physicians, one-eighth part relative to the mercury should be given. (83)

The morsel is given in the fourth part. And one should perfect it with a morsel of equal part. (84)

With sixteen parts of bida a digestive salt, the mercury becomes hungry. And when digested, the morsel falls, having been processed with bida. (85)
