1. The meaning is to grind it during the day with the aforementioned juice (jvalamukhi juice) and wash it at night with sour gruel (kanjika). Repeat this for seven days. "Jvalamukhi" is known in the Marathi language as "bharajambhul".
Take one tolaka a unit of weight, approx. 12 grams of purified mercury and grind it in gold-juice a solution or decoction containing gold essence. Grind it thoroughly until a paste (pishti) is formed. (65)

This is the third type of metallic binding, which I have performed with my own hands. (70)
I shall explain it exactly as it is for the sake of the practitioner. Have thin leaves made of gold, like those of a birch tree. (71)
Take these, in the measure of one kola a small weight measurement, and one pala a unit of weight, approx. 48-64 grams of mercury. Grind them continuously for one day with lemon juice. (72)
Then, make a ball of it, place it in a potsherd, and set it upon a stove. Sprinkle it with grain-sour gruel (dhanyamla). (73)
The stabilization of the paste should be performed consistently for a period of three days. Then, steam it for seven days using the juice of dhurta also known as bhanga or hemp. (74)
White punarnava Boerhavia diffusa, tamarind, sahadevi Vernonia cinerea, and nilika Indigofera tinctoria. (75)
Likewise, dhurtavadhu a medicinal herb, often associated with hemp or similar plants, glory lily (langali), and suradalika. These have been declared by Nagarjuna a legendary alchemist and teacher and others as the best for binding mercury. (76)
