FRONT BOARD

A woodcut-style illustration is not present, but a description of the binding is provided: Inside front cover of a manuscript. The binding is made of dark red leather with a wide central rectangular window revealing an inset piece of patterned fabric. The fabric features a floral or foliate design in blue, gold, and cream colors. Two paper slips with handwritten notes are pasted onto the fabric and leather.
