In the name of God, the Merciful and Compassionate, Slow to anger and Abundant in mercy and righteousness. I shall now write the Book of Enoch the prophet. May his blessing and the gift of his assistance be with the beloved Mary, and with all those who wait for the world to come. Amen. Part 1
The words of blessing of Enoch, with which he blessed the elect and the righteous who will be present on the day of distress, for the removal of all the wicked and ungodly. And Enoch, a righteous man from the presence of God, whose eyes were opened by the Holy One, spoke. He saw everything in the heavens that the angels showed him, and he heard from them everything, and he understood what he saw. This is not for this generation, but for a generation that is far off. I spoke regarding the elect, and I pondered upon them with the Holy One who shall come forth from his dwelling, the Great One from above the world. From there he shall go forth upon Mount Sinai, and he shall appear in his host, and he shall be seen in the strength of his power from the heaven of heavens. And all the earth shall be shaken, and terror and great trembling shall seize the ends of the earth. The high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low, and they shall melt like honeycomb before the flame of fire. The earth shall sink, and everything that is upon the earth shall perish, and there shall be a judgment upon all and upon the righteous. To all the righteous he shall give peace, and he shall preserve the elect, and mercy shall be upon them. They shall all belong to God, and they shall be blessed, and they shall be illuminated, and light shall shine upon them. Behold, he comes with ten thousands of his holy ones to execute judgment upon them, and he shall destroy the ungodly, and he shall contend for all flesh regarding everything that the sinners and the ungodly have done and committed against him. Part 2.
And everything in the heaven observes the work of God.
They do not change their appearance. The lights that are in the heaven, all of them rise and set in their order, each in its season, and they do not transgress their commandment. Look at the earth and reflect upon the work that is done upon it from the beginning to its end, that no work of God changes as it is manifested. Behold the summer and the winter, how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds, and dew, and rain rest upon it. Part 3.
And they observe and see how all the trees appear to wither, for they drop all their leaves except for fourteen trees that do not lose their leaves, but wait, and with old leaves they put forth new for two or three years. Part 4.
And again, look at the days of summer, how the sun is above the earth before it, and you seek shade and shelter because of the heat of the sun, and the earth burns with scorching heat, and you are unable to walk upon the earth or upon the rocks because of its heat. Part 5.
And observe all the trees that are covered with green leaves, and they bear fruit, and they reflect upon everything. And know how the Living God of eternity has made for you everything that is done before him. And all his works serve him, and they do not change, but as God has commanded, everything is done. And look at how the sea and the rivers likewise fulfill their work. But you have not been patient and have not performed the commandment of God, but you have transgressed, and you have spoken proud and hard words with your unclean mouths against his majesty. Hard-hearted, you shall find no peace. You shall curse your days, and the years of your life shall perish, and the eternal curse shall increase, and you shall have no...

mercy in those days. You give your own peace in an eternal curse to all the righteous, and the sinners shall curse you forever. And for you, O sinners, it shall be with sinners. But for the elect there shall be light and joy and peace, and they shall inherit the earth. And then there shall be given to the elect wisdom, and they shall all live and not sin again, either through folly or through pride. But those who are wise shall be enlightened and shall not sin again for all the days of their life, and they shall not die of wrath or of judgment, but they shall complete the days of their life in peace, and their days of joy shall be increased in gladness and in peace forever, throughout all the days of their life. Part 6.
And it came to pass, when the children of men had multiplied in those days, that there were born to them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of heaven, saw them and desired them, and they said to one another, "Come, let us choose for ourselves wives from among the children of men and beget children." And Semyaza, who was their leader, said to them, "I fear that you may not wish to perform this deed, and I alone shall be the one to pay for this great sin." And they all answered him and said, "Let us all swear an oath and bind one another with mutual curses not to abandon this plan, but to perform this deed." Then they all swore together and bound one another with a curse. And they were two hundred in all, and they descended upon Ardis, which is the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon because they had sworn and bound one another with a curse upon it. And the names of their leaders were...
