ብሉይ ኪዳን (Old Testament — begins with Book of Enoch, not Genesis)

...as [he was] in their midst, and he brings out the day of [judgment]. You will be drawn in their midst, and he dwelt as the [Son of Man] in his midst. They became [holy], and by the blessing, when he took the counts of the angels so that he may be for the temple for the world and for the righteous who gave the help of the forefathers and the righteous from the world, in that place, he will [judge].

Section 70

And it was that he came so that the spirit might be gathered, it will be cast into the heavens, and I saw those angels walking upon the [flame] of fire, and their clothes were bright, and he gave to them the [light], their [garments] were like hail. And I saw 9 and 5 fires that were strengthened and reached [the] fires [of] the heavens that shine. And they fell on their faces before the Lord of Spirits. And Michael, the angel [of the] first ones, showed me the angels, Michael who does not [sleep], and he took me and brought me to the place of all the [waters] of mercy. And I spoke righteousness, and he showed me all the secrets of the ends of heaven, and all the treasures of the stars and the lights, and from all of them [they] went out to the face of the holy ones. And he gathered the spirit of peace as the heavens [were] the heavens. And I saw there, in the midst of this light, that there was [one] who burns from fire, the [count] of the body in the midst of the rivers, those that are the living fires. And I saw the spirit circling that house of fire from its four sides, and it was full of living fires, and they surround that house, the seraphim burning ones and the cherubim celestial beings and the ofanim wheels of the throne. And these are the ones who do not sleep and guard the throne of his glory. And I saw the angels, there is no [one] who can count them above [the]... and while the fire was circling that house. And Michael, and Raphael, and Gabriel, and Phanuel, and these holy angels, who [are] in the heights of the heavens, enter and go out of that house. And Michael, and Raphael, and Gabriel, and Phanuel, and many holy angels went out from that house, these [there is] no number for them. And with them [is] the Head of Days...

[the] moon, all [of] them he knows. And he [gave] me [the] heart that cannot be translated. And they fell on their faces; all flesh was shaken, and the spirit [was]... and [he] cried out with a great voice, with the power of the spirit. And I blessed and praised and exalted; and these blessings went out from my mouth, as [it was] pleasure before that Head of Days. And [Michael], and Raphael, and Gabriel, and Michael, and Gabriel, and Phanuel, and these holy angels who [are] in the heights of the heavens, went out from that house. And I [was] afraid, the [angels] who [are] many, there is no number for them. And that angel came to me, and with his voice, he greeted me and said to me: "You are the Son of Man who was born for righteousness, and righteousness rests upon you, and the righteousness of the Head of Days will not forsake you." And he said to me: "They will call for you peace in the name of the world which will be with you from here." And peace went out from the creation of the world, and thus it will be for you for ever and ever. And everything will pass in your path, which is pure, righteousness will not forsake you for ever. And with you will be their dwelling, and with you will be their portion, and from you they will not be separated for ever and ever, and for ever and ever. And thus it will be, the length of days with that Son of Man, and peace will be for the righteous, and a straight path for the righteous in the name of the Lord of Spirits for ever and ever.

Section 73

The Book of the Appointment of the Luminaries of Heaven. 30, as it is in their parts, 34 in their authorities, and in their seasons for the [world], in their parts. And it is their [rising], their [paths], as Uriel, the holy angel who was with me, showed me, who is their leader, and all their book as he showed me, by the year, [to] the world and until forever, and until a new work is made that will last forever. And this holy [law] first, that of the luminaries of the sun and the light that comes in the gates of heaven which is from the side of the sunrise, and its setting is the gate of heaven which [is]... and [he]...

[I] saw [the] gate [where] the sun goes out, and [that] gate [where] the sun sets, and the moon, in those gates they descend and set. And their leader, for the stars, with these they lead, and [from] the sunrise and from the sunset, and the sun, and all of them [from] after one by one [they do not] count, and from the gate [to] the [other]... into which the light goes out, which sets, as [does] the sun. And they circle as the circle of the heavens, and all is full of fire that shines and [it]... [it] rises, the wind blows and sets in the [sunrise] and returns to the window so that it may go to the east and goes out as it returns to that [gate] and shines for the heavens and the earth, so that it may go out in the first month in the gate of day and night. Its fire, and it is 6 hours from [that] gate, 5 which are toward the east, and the sun in its time [is]... and that [is] the gate from which the sun goes out in the first month, 2 [in] the second and the third, and [the]... of the luminaries go down while [that] from which goes out the flame of the [light], which is translated, their [names]... and it goes down, the sun in the first, it goes out from that which is [the] gate, 19 sunrise, and in [the] 4 gates which are of the west of heaven, [they] go down, and by the side of the authority, [the] day from day and night from night, until thirty sunrise, and in that night [it] becomes 14 days from night, and [it]... the part, and the sun goes out from this [gate] 4 gates and sets in 4 gates and returns to the gate of the sunrise, [it] rises and goes out from it, and sets into the [other] gate, and when it becomes the day 12 parts and it becomes 12 parts of the [day], and the night shortens, and it becomes 6 parts, and it returns to the sunrise and enters into the [other] gate, and goes out and sets in the [next] gate, and [in] the sunrise, and sets in the measure of [the]... and on that day it is counted from [the]...
