The Tilaka of Sharada

The Gayatri of the Sun, the Gayatri of Shambhu, the Gayatri which is the essence of desire original: "madana-atmikam". (99)

The Gayatri of Vishnu, the Gayatri of the one whose soul is Tripura, the Gayatri of Dakshinamurti, and the Gayatri of the wife of Shambhu. (100)

The twenty-four tattvas reside in her, the Supreme Self. She is the pervasive one, composed of all mantras, multiplied by thirty-two variations. (101)

She brings forth the Mrityunjaya mantra, the great mantra of Narasimha, the mantra of the great-souled Varuna, beginning with the letter 'La'. (102)

The Hayagriva mantra, the Durga mantra, the Varaha mantra, the mantra of the Lord of Fire, the great mantra of the Lord of Ganas Ganesha, and the mantra of the commander of the army Senadhipa. (103)

The mantra of Sri Dakshinamurti, the Mala mantra of the Lord of the Mind Kamadeva, the Trishtup mantra of the Forest-Dweller, and the great mantra known as Aghora. (104)

The Bhadrakali mantra, the Lakshmi-mala mantra, the mantra of the essence of Yama, the mantra of the son of Devaki Krishna, and the mantra of the Supreme Purusha Purushottama. (105)

The Sri Gopala mantra, the Bhumi mantra, the Tara mantra in order, the great mantra of Mahalakshmi, and the mantra of the Lord of Beings Bhuteshvara. (106)

She brings forth the Kshetrapala mantra, the mantra that removes calamities, the Matangini science, and the Siddhavidya knowledge of spiritual power which brings auspiciousness. (107)

Multiplied by this sequence, the beloved of Shiva creates the thirty-six and five tattvas principles of the Shaiva school. (108)

She produces other mantras and yantras mystical diagrams that grant auspicious results. Multiplied by forty-two at the root, the Mistress of the World (109)

Brings forth the Kundalini, the pervasive one who is the essence of Shabda-Brahma Sound-Absolute. From her comes Dhvani sound, from that Nada resonance, and from that Nirodhika the restrainer. (110)

From that comes the Ardhendu half-moon, then the Bindu point, and from that arose the Supreme. Then appear Pashyanti, Madhyama, and Vaikhari—the birthplace of speech. (111)

She is the essence of will, knowledge, and action, having the form of light and attributes.
