By this sequence, Kundali creates the garland of letters, (112)
Composed of forty-two letters from 'A' to 'Sa'. She brings forth the fifty-letter garland, multiplied by fifty repetitions. (113)
From those letters, she brings forth the Kala-rudras aspects of Rudra and others in sequence. Nirodhika becomes fire, and Ardhendu becomes the moon. (114)
The sun is the union of both, the Bindu which is the storehouse of light. Because the letters are born from the Bindu, which is the union of Shiva and Shakti, (115)
They are of the nature of fire and moon, born from the union of Shiva and Shakti. Through this, they possess the forms of the moon, the sun, and fire. (116)
Next, I will explain the manifestation of the letters in the mouths of men. Constantly impelled by the breath, they emerge from the opening of the Sushumna the central energy channel. (1)
The letters manifest in sequence through the instruments of the throat and other parts. Among these, the vowels are remembered as Saumya lunar/gentle, and the consonants are Saura solar. (2)
They are all Agneya fiery/pervasive, taking the forms of moon, sun, and fire. The sixteen vowels are well known, and the twenty-five consonants. (3)
The consonants are remembered as having the nature of principles, and the letter 'Ma' is the Purusha the Cosmic Man. The ten pervasive letters grant wealth and duty. (4)
The short vowel is mentioned first among vowels, followed by the long in sequence. They consist of Shiva and Shakti, ending with the Bindu and Visarga. (5)
The Bindu is said to be the male, the sun, and the Visarga is the power, the moon. The four vowels in the middle are neuter. (6)
The short ones are situated in the Pingala right energy channel, and the others are joined in the Ida left energy channel.
