...the secret of the kala aspect. Having reflected through the matrika the alphabet/mother-letters, the mantras, their power, and the objects of knowledge, she now reflects on the form of the Lord through the great mantra to be meditated upon: "The wheel..."—that which is mounted on the wheels of birth and the rest, placed only through the meditation on letters. What is the form of the anachakra the wheel-less state which is of the form of ha-kala the energy of the letter Ha and consists of nada sound? Or, in Bhairava, what is the form of that which is the pure, clear form of energy, having pacified all complexity? Verse 2, 3, 4
Having reflected through the great mantra to be meditated upon and its power, she now asks through the aspect of the supreme power, which is the highest of all and the unsurpassable:
In texts like the Shri Paratrisika, the sakala with parts form of the supreme Goddess has been described as consisting of specific mantras and specific objects of meditation. It is conjectured that this belongs to the Parapara Supreme-non-supreme Goddess, or, if that is not suitable due to the dominance of the supreme aspect, that it belongs to the Apara Non-supreme Goddess herself. However, if this is also desired for the supreme Goddess, then supremacy would be only in name.
