"Nothing compares to this knowledge in the human mind,
As it was revealed by the Guru Dattatreya to the descendant of Bhrigu. 5
It is adorned with both logic and experience, and is highly illustrative.
If, even after being told this, a person with a deluded mind does not understand, 6
He is simply struck by fate and is no better than a dry stump, there is no doubt.
He cannot attain the knowledge even if it is explained by Shiva himself. 7
Therefore, listen, I shall tell you what is contained in the Section on Knowledge.
Oh, this is indeed a wonderful account, superior to all virtues. 8
Since even this celestial sage Narada wishes to hear it from me,
For the grace of the good is a spontaneous occurrence. 9
Just as the fragrance of the musk deer naturally arises from itself,
Having heard the majesty and glory from the mouth of Dattatreya, 10
Rama, the descendant of Jamadagni, who brings joy to all people and has a noble mind..."
