"...became silent for a while as his mind was captured by devotion. 11
Then, having emerged from external activities, his eyes filled with bliss,
His body stood with hair standing on end, and he was filled with internal joy. 12
His joy seemed as if it were bursting forth from his pores,
And he bowed to Guru Dattatreya, falling like a stick at his feet. 13
Rising up, filled with joy, he spoke in a choked voice:
"I am blessed, I have fulfilled my purpose, O Guru, through your grace. 14
You, the ocean of compassion, are the Guru who is Shiva himself, and you are satisfied with me.
When you are satisfied, even the status of Brahman is like a blade of grass. 15
Death itself turns into the Self when the Guru is satisfied,
And that Guru, the great Lord, is satisfied with me today without any reason. 16
I believe that I have obtained everything through the grace of the Guru.
O Master, I have now heard the entire majesty through your grace. 17
I wish to worship Her, the Supreme Goddess Tripura.
Please kindly tell me the order of Her worship, O Guru." 18
Requested in this way, Guru Dattatreya observed in the descendant of Bhrigu
The qualification for the worship of Tripura, increased by deep faith and devotion. 19
"...by whom." 11. "Bliss" refers to tears of joy. He was filled with his own internal joy born of devotion. 12. The joy that came into his heart was as if it were bursting from the pores of his skin, and this is related to his body being plump with horripilation. 13. He explains what he said: "I am blessed," etc. 14, 15. The death that arises from the satisfaction of the Guru turns into the Self. "Without reason" means without any cause. He is to be satisfied only through great effort. 16. He says to the Guru, "O Master," etc. 17, 18, 19.
