A few things must be prefaced concerning the fungus itself. I defer a complete terminology, illustrated with synonyms and examples, to another time.
A Fungus is a very simple vegetable, exhibiting only the parts of fructification the reproductive structures or rather, since it is for the most part already found maturing, it exhibits fruit, taken in a broader sense, nude.
For no trunk, no branches, no leaves, nor fronds, and in very few cases barely a simple crust, is found in fungi, which are common in other vegetables, both those that are more perfect and those that are less perfect, as parts diverse from flowers and fruits.
Depending on how more or less complete the fungus is, the following parts are observed in them.
