Mycological System

An Art Nouveau style bookplate features two nude female figures kneeling and holding up a circular frame. Inside the frame is a tree with the text "19 02" on either side of the trunk. The text "THE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF NEW YORK" is inscribed around the inner border of the circle. The background is filled with swirling, organic, vine-like patterns. Below the figures is a decorative border containing roses.
