¶ The Italians, and especially the Easterners, will be exposed to conflicts with great soul and strength, with boldness and intrepid ferocity, with the greatest desire to win, and especially those who have had Leo or the Sun strong for themselves and also dwell under the lands of Leo: as are the noble Romans: who will fight with supreme magnanimity and virtue in wars, with the spoils of enemies made famous.
